The Fall Activities Supper will be held Monday, August 25, at 7pm at the Hampton City Auditorium.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  Students in Football, Volleyball, Drama, Band, Choir, and Cheerleading will be recognized.  Woody’s BBQ will be catering the meal.  The cost for 7th grade and above is $5.50, and the cost for 6th and below is $3.50.  A pep rally will also be held at the end of the evening.

The Hampton Elementary School will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE on Tuesday, August 26th at 6:30-7:30pm.  Please make plans to attend whenever it is convenient for your family.  There will be a Hampton clothing blow-out sale in the cafeteria at the end of the evening in the cafeteria!  Mrs. Farris will also be having an instrument display at 6pm in the music room for 5th grade parents.  We look forward to seeing you on the 26th.

The Todd Becker Foundation will be presenting an assembly to students in grades 9-12 on Tuesday, Sept. 2 in the Hampton Gym.  Todd Becker was a youth from Kearney who died in a car accident, which occurred after he had consumed alcohol at a graduation party.  Todd’s brother, Keith, has developed a Foundation whose goal is to reach as many high school students as possible about staying away from drugs and alcohol.  The school will be sending home permission slips on Tuesday, Aug. 26th for parents to sign concerning their students attending this assembly.  These need to be returned by Friday, Aug. 29th.  If they are not returned, the student will not be able to attend.  If you choose for your child not to attend, we will offer another activity for them during the assembly.

The Junior Class Parents will be selling stadium seats this year to raise money for the After Activities Party.  If you are interested in purchasing one, please contact Dani Klute at 725-3500.

The Hampton Elementary School is still collecting Box-Tops for Education and the High School is still collecting empty ink cartridges.  These can both be dropped off at the high school office.  We will no longer be collecting milk lids.
